Bombo Pluto Ova – Alimpatakan

Back at it once again, these bad boys of Cebuano noise music did not disappoint with their latest onslaught of sonic feedback and free improvisations, their 6th to be exact. With “Alimpatakan” the trio reworked their usual song framework as they dabbled with the “long form”, per se. This release only boost of two songs, however, these two tracks explored the possibility of going beyond the formulaic 5-minute length — clocking in at 25 & 40 minutes, respectively. Thus, each of the song, not only fits the definition of “epic proportion” but also moves towards the physical release capturing the verisimilitude of their live performance.
